Hi, I’m Carolyn, floral designer and founder of Found in Earth!
Botanicals have always held my love and attention. I delighted in them even from a small child, and they led me to a career in horticulture and now a premier wedding florist. I love working with the very best of the Tasmanian seasonal produce, weaving in texture and form through homegrown, foraged, local grower and market materials in contemporary colour palettes.
I am best at working with couples who are interested in creating bespoke and seasonal florals that capture their personality and individual style. I have a strong ethical focus on local and sustainable floristry and I love working for people who share these values.
Since 2015 I have worked on over 500 weddings, from whimsical intimate elopements to luxe full-scale events, in some of the dreamiest venues and locations we offer here in Tasmania.
When I’m not being super creative with florals and dreaming up beautiful arrangements, you can find me at home growing flowers and pouring over seed catalogues. There is just something so very satisfying about growing something beautiful and then including that within the floral plan of a client. I love pushing the boundaries in floral design and I am very lucky to have worked with some of the best wedding planners and stylists across the State.
