Bayley William Wedding Photography

Hi, I’m Bayley. My number one focus is making sure your wedding day feels like your wedding day, not a production set. I document weddings as they naturally unfold and step in with my editorial eye when the time is right to capture those stunning portraits. I am known for my relaxed and friendly vibe, helping you feel comfortable on your day, both in front of the camera and just in general.

Based in Perth, I photograph weddings throughout Western Australia and regularly travel across Australia to capture celebrations of every kind. Every wedding has its own personality, and that’s something I lean into. Rather than trying to make every gallery look the same, I work with the light, the landscape and the atmosphere of your day to create images that feel authentic to your story.

My secret weapon is helping grooms feel comfortable, because let’s be honest they’re not exactly jumping out of their skin to have their photo taken. I can do this, because that’s me too, maybe that’s why I’ve ended up on the other side of the camera!

Every wedding is different so I don’t believe in slapping a generic, copy and paste filter over your memories. I shoot and edit every single wedding unique to its own vibe. It only takes a quick glance at my Instagram to see exactly what I mean. The editing style adapts to the actual colour palette and energy of your day whilst maintaining a clean, modern and timeless look overall.

While I love creating beautiful portraits, some of my favourite images are often the ones you never realised were being taken. The quiet moments, the laughs between friends, the reactions from family and the little in-between moments all help tell the complete story of your wedding day.
Lastly, I love a drone photo. If I had to pick any images from a wedding day to be printed, framed, and hung on a wall, it’s always the drone shots. There is just something incredible about a massive, breathtaking landscape photo that captures the entire scene, with the two of you right in the heart of it.

If this sounds like your vibe, I’d love to chat!

FAQ

How long do you take to deliver the gallery?

Because photography is my full-time gig, my workflow is designed to shoot your wedding, dive straight into editing it that week, and deliver it to you before I head out to my next wedding. While my contract states up to three weeks just to give me a safe buffer during the absolute peak of wedding season, you can usually expect your full gallery ready to view in less than a week.

Do you offer videography?

Yes, but with a unique twist! I do offer video coverage, but I approach it a bit differently. I’d love to tell you all about how it works and see if it’s the right fit for you when we catch up for a chat.

Do you have a second shooter?

Generally, no, and it’s a very intentional choice. I gave second shooters a solid run, but I quickly realised that because I have a very specific style and a very personal way of interacting with my clients, it’s incredibly hard to replicate that through someone else. I take an immense amount of pride in my business, and I want to guarantee that every single image delivered meets my standard. When you book me, you get 100% of my eye, my personality, and my quality from start to finish.

What if we are incredibly awkward in front of the camera?

Good news! 99% of the couples you see on my website and Instagram said the exact same thing to me before their day. My shooting style isn’t about stiff, traditional posing or making you hold your breath for minutes on end. I focus on creating a relaxed vibe where you two can just interact naturally, laugh, and actually enjoy the day. The stunning portraits happen when you’re just being yourselves. In fact, an awkward laugh often makes some of the best photos!

Do you travel for weddings?

Absolutely. While I’m based in Perth, I spend a huge chunk of the year hitting the highway or jumping on planes to capture stories all over the country. I also spend plenty of time in Western Australia’s South West, which I absolutely love.
