Honestly, these are my favourite couples to work with!

The couples who tell me they’re awkward are usually the ones who end up forgetting they’re even being photographed. My job isn’t to make you pose for hours, it’s to create an environment where you can relax, be yourselves, and actually enjoy your wedding day. I’ll give you gentle direction when you need it, but for the most part, I want you focusing on each other, not on me.

I’ve always believed that the best wedding photos aren’t necessarily the perfect ones, they’re the ones that make you feel something.

Anyone can recreate a Pinterest pose, but no one can recreate the way your dad looked at you as you walked down the aisle, or the way your grandparents laughed during speeches. Those are the moments I’m always looking for.

My goal is to capture your wedding as it naturally unfolds, while creating timeless images you’ll still love decades from now.

I’d describe it as documentary photography with a romantic, editorial finish.

I spend most of the day quietly observing and anticipating moments rather than directing them. When it comes to your couple portraits, I’ll guide you enough that you never feel awkward, but never so much that it feels staged.

The end result is a gallery that feels natural, emotional, and completely true to your day.

I’m not going to leave you standing there wondering what to do, but I’m also not going to spend your whole wedding putting you into awkward poses.

Instead, I’ll give you simple prompts and gentle direction that encourage genuine interaction. The best expressions, laughs and moments happen naturally, I just know how to help create the space for them.

I think one of the biggest things is that I never want to add stress to your day.

I’ve photographed hundreds of weddings, so I know when to step in and help, and when to simply let moments happen. Whether it’s adjusting a timeline, calming nerves before the ceremony, or making portraits feel effortless, I’m always looking for ways to make the day easier for you.

I’ve found that a well planned timeline can make one of the biggest differences to how your day actually feels.

I’ll work closely with you before the wedding to help build a timeline that allows plenty of breathing room, beautiful light for your portraits, and most importantly, enough time for you to actually enjoy your wedding rather than feeling like you’re rushing from one thing to the next.

Some of my favourite weddings have been the wettest ones.

Rain rarely ruins a wedding, but stressing about the rain can. I always have backup plans in place and I’ll work with you and your venue to make the most of whatever the weather decides to do.

At the end of the day, your guests won’t remember whether it rained. They’ll remember how much fun they had, and that’s exactly what I want your photos to reflect.

You’ll receive a sneak peek gallery usually by the Monday after your wedding, because I know how excited everyone is to relive the day.

Your full gallery is then delivered within eight weeks, although it’s often sooner depending on the time of year. Every image is individually edited by me, so I’d always rather take the time to do it properly than rush the process.
