I’m a light-seeker, shade-tamer, documentarian and spontaneous romance encourager. I capture the beauty in otherwise unnoticed moments and create soft, genuine and brave imagery from my darling couples, and the loved ones they surround themselves with. I was obsessed with cinemaphotography growing up. I read once, that in truly beautiful films, you can pause them at any moment and the still shot on the screen will be art. This resonates with me deeply, and I carry it in mind when I’m photographing. I view wedding days like I’m watching a beautiful film, and I want to freeze-frame those moments for you – illuminating modern-day-lovers.
My father started calling me ‘Flossy’ when I was a little girl, now it’s a proud nickname. I’m a mother to a blonde curly-haired teenage daughter, friend to an old sausage dog named Dexter, and two strange but lovely cats, Ivy & Honey. I love jumping fences for an epic photo, music & wild dancing, laughing so hard that I cry, fresh linen, polaroids, flowers, film, reading, and studying light & shadows in unassuming places. My party trick is rapping Coolio – Gangsta’s Paradise. Most importantly though, I love observing human connections.
