Emily Beatrice Designs

My journey into bridal design started 10 years ago with my own wedding dress. What began as a personal project quickly became something I completely fell in love with. From there, I started creating dresses for my sister, friends and bridesmaids. With every gown, I found myself becoming more passionate about the craft, the fabrics, the design process and, most importantly, the excitement that comes with creating something for such a special moment. Eventually, it felt only natural to turn that passion into my business.

Today, I specialise in creating beautiful, considered bridal gowns and bespoke pieces for brides who want something that feels truly their own. I love working closely with my brides to bring their vision to life. Whether they have had their dream dress imagined for years or simply picking a gown from my collections. From choosing the perfect fabric and refining the silhouette to all the little details that make a gown unique, I’m involved throughout the entire process.

I also love the idea of creating something that can become part of a family story. Whether it’s incorporating a meaningful fabric, reworking a family heirloom or designing a gown completely from scratch, I want every piece I create to feel personal, timeless and uniquely yours.

For me, bridalwear has never just been about making a beautiful dress. It’s about the experience, the connection and creating something to make those forever memories in.

FAQ

What bridal services do you offer?

I specialise in bridal gowns, bespoke wedding dresses and bridal separates, as well as veils and other accessories. I also love creating meaningful pieces from family heirlooms. This might mean incorporating fabric from a mum or grandmother’s wedding dress into a new gown, veil or keepsake piece.

What makes your bridal gowns different?

I’m a one-woman studio, so every gown is designed and made with a very personal approach. My own journey into bridal started with making my own wedding dress, so I understand how special it is to create something that feels completely you. I love working closely with my brides and bringing their ideas to life, rather than creating something that simply follows a trend.

What should couples know before booking you?

Come with an open mind! You don’t need to have your entire dress figured out before your appointment. Inspo photos, fabrics, silhouettes or even just a feeling you want to capture are all helpful. I’ll guide you through the design process and help bring your ideas together into something that works for you, your body and your wedding.

How long do you need to make a custom dress?

I recommend allowing around 6–9 months for a bespoke wedding dress. This gives us plenty of time for the design process, fittings, fabric sourcing and any adjustments needed along the way. If your wedding is sooner, get in touch anyway. Depending on my availability and your timeline, we may still be able to make it work.

Can I only pick from your bridal collections?

Not at all! My collections are a great starting point, but I also offer fully bespoke gowns. You can have a collection gown made as designed, customise an existing style, or start completely from scratch and design something unique to you.

Do you also make bridal accessories such as veils and bags?

Yes! I create bespoke veils and bridal accessories to complement your gown. I also love creating special keepsake pieces, including heirloom bags made from meaningful fabrics such as a family member’s wedding dress. These little details can be a beautiful way to carry a piece of your family story with you on your wedding day.
