All for epic wedding photos with a vibe AND a wedding photographer who feels more like a friend? Then read on, my friend!

Hi! I’m Dee, a Melbourne wedding photographer with a documentary and relaxed approach. I bring an editorial flair and a love of photographing stories all over Australia.

I’m Melbourne based and photograph free-spirited couples all over the country. My couples value connection & living life to the fullest. I’m all for big feelings, the raw and honest stuff, connection and keeping it real. Basically, the stuff that really matters!

Whether you’re throwing an epic party or a backyard shindig, I’m less about tradition. I’m all for you going all in and whole-heartedly celebrating your way. I thrive on connection and I’m here for the big moments, the small moments and EVERYTHING in between.

Internationally awarded and with a background in Fine Art, I’ve got you covered. I seamlessly blend documentary style wedding photography for all those candid moments, with just the right amount of creative shots too.

Sharing your day with me is like hanging out with an old friend. It just happens that I’m there to create heartfelt memories for you to cherish forever. I keep you relaxed and in the moment throughout it all. And of course, you’ll get gorgeous photos to relive your day over and over again!

I can’t wait to tell your story

FAQ

What services do you offer for weddings?

’m a Melbourne wedding photographer offering elopement photography from one hour of coverage, micro wedding photography from three hours of coverage and full-day wedding photography from five hours. I photograph your wedding with both digital and 35mm film photography.

How would you describe your photography style?

If I had to describe my style in a few words, I would say bold, relaxed, urban, artful, a little bit moody and a little bit luxe.

My signature style combines editorial, documentary and fine art wedding photography, blending these three genres to create a unique, thoughtful and beautiful representation of your wedding day.

I take a thoughtful and considered approach, documenting all the unscripted goodness while taking into account your surroundings, the light and what is unfolding within a fine art context.

Do you specialise in a particular wedding style or aesthetic?

I absolutely adore photographing in Melbourne’s CBD and inner-city suburbs like Fitzroy and Cremorne, and the majority of my wedding commissions are Melbourne CBD weddings.

I love to photograph contextually within the city and really bring a Melbourne β€˜feel’ to my work. My work is a love note to the beautiful city of Melbourne.

I’m known for my flexible elopement and micro wedding coverage, while still taking on a limited number of full wedding day commissions each year.

What makes your wedding business different from others in the industry?

β€œDee, your work is just, different…”

I hear this from so many of my couples when they first come across my work, and yes, it is different, here’s why….

Before I was a wedding photographer I studied fine art.

Before I studied fine art I was technically trained in photography with film and developed my own prints in the darkroom.

Before I was technically trained in photography I played around on my dad’s on film cameras as a child and learnt film photograph at age 14.

I come to your wedding with a lifetime of technical skill in photography and a background in art so while on your day you get day a super relaxed, casual and candid photographer, I also bring a wealth of knowledge and experience behind the scenes to give your photos β€œjust that little bit something different.”

Do you help with timelines and planning?Β

Yes, I absolutely help with wedding timelines and planning! I guide you with timeline and planning ideas right from our initial discovery chat and am available to support you with any questions along the way. Then, at our final planning meeting, we create your final timeline together.

I’m here to help with everything from how long you’ll need for getting ready and family photos to sunset times, season-specific planning, portrait timings and locations, and recommended vendors.

What is your booking process for couples planning their wedding?

The booking process is super straightforward.

1. Send me an enquiry to check your date. I’ll then send you through my full collections and pricing info.

2. If you’re already vibing, you can secure your date right away via your booking fee. I’m big on connection and am also available for a casual, obligation-free chat about your day to make sure we’re a match! We can catch up for a coffee in Cremorne or have a cheeky vino over Zoom.

3. Secure your booking. We’ve met, we’re vibing – let’s make it official!
