Hi, I’m Cooper & I am the Creator, Owner & Executive Chef of The Wilderness Chef. We are a catering company with so many differences. Our team specialises in creating restaurant quality dining & catering experiences in unimaginable locations. Whether you plan to elope to New Zealand with no guests or host a large scale wedding in one of Australia’s magical locations, we do it all.
We believe everyone should be able to enjoy the food they love so all menus are custom designed to your taste, event, dietary requirements & budget, featuring stylish, sustainable & seasonal produce. Choose from wilderness feasts, canapés packages, grazing tables, banquets or alternate drop dining.
After working in the hospitality industry for 10 years & running two of Newcastle’s busiest cafe/restaurants I decided to develop a company that would allow me to combine my passion for cooking & all things food related with my love of adventure, travel & the outdoors.
Whether it be a corporate business function or a camping trip with a few mates, The Wilderness Chef team can cater your wedding, workshop, feast, elopement, engagement, private dining experience or weekend away for any number of guests.
We have previously catered in locations as epic as The Blue Mountains, on the snow covered peaks of Mt Hotham, remote Western Australia, Port Douglas, Tasmania & Queenstown (NZ)
