Aloha, I’m Jac, photographer from Doxa Visual. I’ve been capturing weddings since 2014, a lot of that time with my husband Jon on video, but these days I’m often flying solo.
I’m driven, extroverted and funny. I’m great with organisation and managing a crowd. I feel things deeply and want to experience life in all of it’s glory!
Over my career, I’ve watched wedding trends come and go and cycle back for round two. In all of that, the biggest thing I’ve learned is the delicate dance between aesthetics and authenticity.
I’m the type of photographer that will notice how your dress sits, if you haven’t unpicked the flaps on your suit jacket or if your have your phone in your pocket. I’m someone who will manage your family photos, your rowdy bridal party and make sure we do it all on time so you don’t have to worry about a thing. I’m also incredibly inspired to take a step back and find your true smiles, capture those in between kisses and hand squeezes, your tender side or your wild side. I will vibe what you vibe and feed off your unique personality and divine connection to each other. I will capture you with a nostalgic balance between truth + beauty.
My couples are authentic in love, diverse in personality, adventurous in life, and most of all, they are best friends. I ask for trust, faith and freedom to do what I do.
