Where do wedding ceremonies take place?

Our signature ceremony location is The Rock Cathedral, a breathtaking natural amphitheatre surrounded by native bushland and ancient sandstone formations. It is one of the most memorable outdoor wedding ceremony venues in NSW, offering a dramatic yet peaceful setting for your vows.

How many guests can you accommodate?

KVBR is best suited to weddings of 50 to 150 guests. The Rock Cathedral is ideal for ceremonies in this range, and our Reception Area can seat up to 150 guests for dinner, speeches and dancing. Up to 64 guests can stay onsite in the guest accommodation. Camping and nearby accommodation is also available.

Where is the wedding reception held?

Wedding receptions are held in our Reception Area, a purpose-built wedding reception venue with panoramic escarpment views, double-height windows, polished concrete floors, timber finishes and an open indoor-outdoor fireplace. It is warm, elegant and flexible, giving you the freedom to create a reception that feels completely your own.

Is accommodation available onsite?

Yes. Onsite accommodation is one of the things that makes KVBR so special. We have onsite wedding accommodation for up to 64 guests across 32 air-conditioned ensuite rooms, plus camping options for additional guests and nearby accommodation in Kangaroo Valley for overflow guests.

What is included in the venue hire fee at KVBR?

Our wedding experience is built around exclusive three-day three-day wedding celebrations. Our venue hire fee includes:

– Having your ceremony in our incredible 320-million-year-old Rock Cathedral.
– Hosting your drinks and canapés on the Sunset Deck.
– Having your reception at the Reception Area.
– The Firepit (Boma) for both nights of your stay.
– The Bridal Suite (sleeps 2).
– The Den Lounge (sleeps 2).
– The Guest Lounge & Kitchen with everything kitted out for 70 guests. BBQ facilities and alfresco seating area.
– Incredible photo opportunities.
– Exclusive use of the 100 acres for you and your guests for 3 days and 2 nights.
– The Games Area.

Yes. We offer flexibility for couples to bring their own suppliers. This gives you the freedom to choose the caterers, stylists, florists, photographers, musicians and creative partners who best suit your vision.
