FAQ

What celebrant services do you offer for weddings?

Weddings of all shapes and sizes. Whether you are planning an intimate elopement, a cliffside ceremony, a beach wedding, a hot air balloon experience or something completely unexpected like an underwater scuba ceremony, I am in. I also provide wedding MC services for receptions and events, so if you want one person across your whole day, that is an option too. Whatever you are imagining, get in touch and let’s work out how to make it happen

What is the cost of your services?

It depends on the type of ceremony, the location and how much support you need along the way. I offer wedding celebrant packages ranging from simple elopements through to fully personalised weddings with MC services included. Get in touch with your date and a bit of detail about what you are planning and I will put together a quote.

How far in advance should couples book you?

As soon as you have a date and venue locked in. Peak wedding season in Sydney runs October through March and weekends fill up fast. The earlier you reach out, the more flexibility we have to plan properly. That said, if you are working with a shorter lead time, it is always worth getting in touch to check availability.

What is included in your wedding packages?

Every package includes all the legal paperwork and lodgement, and a commemorative certificate on the day. Depending on the package, you can also add wedding vow writing support, a professional PA system and unlimited communication in the lead-up. If you want MC services for your reception as well, that can be combined into one package.

Can you customise your services to suit different wedding styles or budgets?

Absolutely. Not every wedding needs to be a big production, and that is completely fine. A midweek wedding elopement, for example, can be just as meaningful and special as a Saturday celebration, and it can work better for couples who are watching their budget. Whatever your vision or your circumstances, get in touch and we will work out what fits.

What is your booking process?

Once you enquire, I will come back to you with my availability and a quote. From there we will usually have a chat to make sure we are a good fit, then I will walk you through the legal requirements and we will start building your wedding ceremony based on what matters to you. It is a pretty straightforward process and I will guide you through each step.

What makes you different from other wedding celebrants?

I have been a wedding celebrant since 2014 and have married over 700 couples across Australia. I am not the most formal person in the room and I am not trying to be. I bring genuine warmth, natural humour and a lot of experience to every ceremony. My goal is to make you feel calm and confident, and to create something that actually sounds like you rather than a script off the internet.

Do you specialise in a particular wedding style or aesthetic?

Fun, relaxed and genuinely personal wedding ceremonies that reflect the couple getting married. I am not into cookie-cutter scripts or forced sentiment. I like to find the real stuff, the stories, the quirks, the things that actually make you two who you are, and build a ceremony around that. If you want something that feels like you rather than a generic wedding, we will get along well.

What should couples know before booking you?

I am not the cheapest wedding celebrant around, and I am upfront about that. I am full-time, I take this seriously, and I bring over a decade of experience to your day. What you get is someone who will help you feel prepared and calm, who knows how to read a room, and who genuinely cares about getting it right. If you are looking for that, I would love to hear from you.

What happens if it rains on our wedding day?

A wet weather backup is not optional, it is essential. Even if you are fine getting a little damp, remember that your vendors have equipment that is not built for rain, and a wet wedding ceremony means a distracted, uncomfortable crowd. My strong advice is to prioritise your guests’ comfort over the outdoor aesthetic. You can always get photos at that beautiful clifftop location another time. Have a solid indoor or covered option ready to go and you will not regret it.
