Kim & Jackson's South Coast wedding

Well, we’re simply stoked that Jackson decided to slide into Kim’s DMs because we’ve got nothin’ but love for their sophisticated South Coast wedding. The couple of two-and-a-half years instantly “fell in love” with their venue, Bawley Vale Estate (how could you not?), and the bride told us that having planner/stylist Laura from Sweet Little Sunday on the team was a “no-brainer” (they are besties after all!)

An absolute showcase of NSW-and-surrounds wedding-industry legends, Jacqua Celebrant led the ceremony, Violette Cove took care of the playlist, and Leanne Doyle captured the mems you see below. “Lea made us feel so calm and relaxed the entire day,” the newlyweds shared. “We had so much fun taking photos with Lea all day – it was like having your best friend there. We absolutely LOVE our wedding album.”

THE VENUE “We saw Bawley Vale Estate on Instagram and decided to book an onsite visit. We fell in love with the venue and the owners and booked it the same day. We didn’t look anywhere else as we had found our perfect venue. I fell in love with the vineyards and incredible reception space The Grange. It’s so beautiful, modern and functional. Jack fell in love with the property grounds and the farm animals located all over the property.”

THE VIBE “We wanted our day to be different to what we had seen before. When first discussing style with Laura from Sweet Little Sunday, I described the vibe as ‘moody tones with a romantic, unique feel’. I always pictured an outdoor structured ceremony space with black chairs, white umbrellas and a large floral backdrop. We had the most perfect day with the weather; the sun was out and no strong wind.”

MEMORABLE MOMENT “The moment we got to read our personal vows to each other. So many emotions. We were laughing one minute and crying happy tears the next. It was so special to hear each other’s feelings and how well our vows matched. I believe this really set the tone for the entire day.”

REFERENCES “For me, it was a no-brainer that Laura from Sweet Little Sunday would be styling my wedding. Fun fact: she is actually my best friend (how lucky am I?). It really was a full circle moment because when Laura first started her business, I started working for her just to help her out in the early days before it became the beast it is today and now she has a full team and made it her full-time gig. Other vendors I researched from Instagram scrolling and Hello May magazine and Instagram page.”

WE’RE GLAD WE “Went straight to the champagne tower after walking down the aisle. We didn’t want to stop at the end of the aisle and have to hug every single guest; we wanted to keep the fun and happiness going and start the drinks. Also, having a content creator. All the short videos we have of the day are so raw they take you right back to that moment. We also didn’t have an official bridal party – this made the day so much more relaxed and enjoyable for all our friends. Lastly, a lot of married couples would say to us, make time during the day to get away from it all and have a moment just the two of you. We did this multiple times during the day, and it was so worth it.”
