Together for 5 years, these two cuties were engaged in Hawaii, participating in their favourite activity. “Sunset chasing around the world is our thing”, says Robyn. Keeping with the sweet love fest vibe the couple tied the knot in the ever romantic Byron Bay (at The Figtree Restaurant none the less) with the bride decked out in divine Rue De Seine from The Bridal Atelier. Our faves Zoe Morley and Joel Tronoff were there to capture the lush atmosphere. Scroll down for the details…

THE VENUE “Our first holiday together was Splendour in the Grass at Byron Bay. We wanted a location that meant something to us and was a winter getaway for our guests. We also knew the relaxed yet gorgeous vibe of The Figtree Restaurant would make one hell of a great party.”

THE VIBE “It was known as The Love Fest. A relaxed, gypsy, summer vibe for our guests to enjoy.”

FAVOURITE DETAILS “Mikarla from Wilderness Flowers created the most superb arrangements with a mix of pampas grass, roses and dried palm leaves. Also, our invitations. Carla from Peppermint Press created custom invitations and had her watercolours out sending us proofs of the design until it was perfect. Carla ensured all the details were exactly to taste and theme, including the selection of our envelopes.”

THE DRESS “I wore The Blake Dress from Rue De Seine. I knew that Rue De Seine was the designer for me so luckily I found it at The Bridal Atelier on the first visit.”

FAVOURITE MOMENT “Seeing our guests SO HAPPY. The vibe from our Love Tribe was so infectious and contagious. We were on a high all day just seeing their happiness for us.”

WE’RE GLAD WE…”had two bands throughout the day as music was the most important part for us. Our second band Gang of Brothers came on after dinner, kicked guests into gear and set the tone for one big party! Also really glad we booked Miss Margaritas for cocktails after the wedding. Cocktails awaited guests as they stepped off our Magic Party Bus (which was insane by the way) and was a really nice touch for guests to end the celebration.”
