With the sole intention to create “one big party,” Courtney and Ollie certainly look like they achieved it! Add one heck of a band and espresso martinis and you have yourself the perfect recipe for a fun-filled wedding in our books! “Everyone was on the dance floor, non-stop, young and old alike!” We like the sounds of that, guys. They also enlisted the likes of a host of faves from us, Miss Ladybird Cakes, Marry Me Dee and Zoe Morley – the lens lady responsible for these epic pics. Scroll down for more…

THE VENUE “We wanted somewhere where we could seamlessly transition from the (short and sweet) ceremony to the reception. Panama Dining Room and Bar fit the bill perfectly – we loved the style of the place and that it was in the city where we met, in the suburb we used to spend a lot of time in.”

THE VIBE “The styling was dark and moody despite it being the middle of summer – haha! But it suited the venue and is what Ollie and I love – clean and contemporary.”

FAVOURITE DETAILS “We received lots of compliments on the food – Panama Dining Room and Bar did a great job. We also really loved our invites by Athlete – they were designed very early on and stylistically set the tone for the day. Mark from Athlete was such a pleasure to work with, and nailed our brief very quickly.”

THE DRESS “My dress was made by Paolo Sebastian. I saw an image of it online and fell in love immediately. I happened to be in Adelaide one weekend when they happened to have an appointment cancellation – it was meant to be. The dress was made from scratch (from the ‘gilded wings’ collection) and hand beaded over many months. Paul Vasileff (head designer) is just the loveliest, most humble guy. His energy and passion are so obvious and it’s so amazing to see his success and determination to continue to do what he does from Adelaide.”

A WORD OF ADVICE “Stay true to what the two of you want. Pressure can come quickly and unexpectedly, which makes it easy to lose sight of what’s important. It’s your day – do it your own way, whatever that is!”

WE’RE GLAD WE “Kept our ceremony short and sweet, and moved straight into the reception. As many of our guests had travelled, they appreciated not having to find a way to spend a few hours between the two. We also kept our photos after the ceremony as quick as possible, so as not to miss the party. Our photographer chose a small handful of locations close by, and we covered off all the key shots. We’re so happy with the photos and so glad we spent as little time away from our friends and family as possible.”

STANDOUT VENDORS “Celebrant, Videographer, Photographer and Band. Zoe Morley, our photographer was a joy to work with. She’s bubbly, energetic and warm. The photos are everything we’d hoped for. Ryan Lee Adams. our videographer did an incredible job. He told us he’d just blend into the background on the day and do his thing. He snuck in there and caught so many beautiful, natural moments without us being aware. Marry Me Dee, our Celebrant – we cannot recommend her enough. She was so much fun to work with and delivered a ceremony that was above and beyond- funny, engaging and incredibly personalised. And our band, Something Blue was incredible.”
