When I started Flossy Byron Bay, it was purely inspired by my desire for fairy floss and cocktails at my own wedding!
Flossy is not your typical fairy floss; I’ve redesigned it for the adult palate. What makes it unique are the various flavours of floss and how they are incorporated into your cocktails and bubbles. For example, imagine crème brûlée floss garnishing an espresso martini or salted kaffir lime floss topping your margarita. Is your mouth watering yet? Mine certainly is!
The Flossy Cart is a bit bougie for a mobile bar, but why not? It’s all about the experience! While the sounds of cocktails are being shaken, we also hand-spin floss right in front of you and your guests, creating a unique and fun experience that your guests won’t have seen before.
There are two popular ways to incorporate Flossy into your day:
1. **Cocktail Hour**: This allows your guests to enjoy an interactive experience while you and your partner are off getting photos. It’s also a fun opportunity for you both to come behind the Flossy Cart and make floss together; feeding it to each other is super cute!
2. **Welcome Bubbles and Floss**: This can be served pre-ceremony and for toasting after the ceremony. This idea creates the happiest guests and sets a celebratory tone for what’s to come. It gives them something to enjoy while waiting for the bride.
