We hope you’re hungry (and well, if not, you’re about to be) because today, we are serving up a smorgasbord of 12 wedding catering and food truck businesses that have indeed won our hearts (and stomachs). Artisanal grazing tables, elevated backyard BBQs, fancy as heck sit-down feasts, and late-night d-floor fuel – these foodie pros are worth their salt and have the goods to satisfy whatever kind of party you’re craving.

You deserve a wedding menu that’s *chef’s kiss*. After all, just like love, food has a magical way of bringing people together. So, if we may offer one nugget of advice in the hierarchy of planning priorities, you might want to pop good food pretty high up there. Trust us, we can’t have you celebrate such a significant day with a meal that’s… ’meh’. Plus, alongside your oh-so-sentimental ceremony, it’s one element guaranteed to live rent-free in your guests’ minds. Yes, yes, getting married is the main event, but getting to feel rightfully smug as loved ones rave about your wedding day spread for all of eternity? Well, that’s the cherry on top.

Once you’ve polished off this ridiculously delectable round-up (including drool-worthy snaps by some of our fave photographers – credits below), plate yourself up a second course of inspiration with these unique ceremony arbours or wedding entertainers who hit all the right notes.

Alright lovers, enough chatter, dig in!

They get a kick out of getting to know their couples and crafting a menu that truly reflects you and your boo. Sabre is passionate about bringing local Tassie flavours to the table, so you can expect to taste plenty of melt-in-your-mouth, quintessentially Tas morsels, such as wallaby tartare, Tasmanian carrots baked in Huon apple juice, and lemon and kunzea panna cotta. As they say, “This little island has forged who we are, the people, the landscape, the produce.” Suss out Sabre doing their thing in these real Hello May weddings.
