At Carousel Films, we think the formula for a stunning wedding film hasn’t changed much over the years. If you’ve got a beautiful location, a happy couple and a guest list full of your favourite people, then you’re already halfway there. Add to this a vintage Super 8 camera and a videographer with an eye for the magic shot, and you’ve got a pretty special way to remember your wedding day.
The two of us, Angus and Vic, have been playing around with film cameras for years and it’s fair to say we’re mad about Super 8. We love how every camera and roll of film creates something totally unique – just like every couple we work with.
On the day, our priority is making sure the couple is at ease. We get to know them in the months leading up, learning what their vision for their wedding is so we know exactly how to capture it best. And we have plenty of laughs along the way, which helps us to grab those candid moments – the big ones and the little ones. The best thing couples tell us is that our films make them feel exactly how they felt on the day.
