All stunning options. “It felt like we had stepped into the heart of Italy (and the food tasted just as divine!)” newlyweds Jane and Mitch told us. “Being a family-owned restaurant, you can just feel the love and care Lauren and Andrea (the owners) have poured into such a beautiful venue. It was also the perfect size for our intimate gathering, complete with a fairylight-lit courtyard for our margarita cocktail hour and dancing.”

However, micro-weddings, elopement celebrations, or restaurant receptions can often be locked in on lesser notice. Brissy’s climate lends itself beautifully to the wedding scene’s most popular seasons, being autumn and spring. But don’t sleep on winter, friends. The perk of this region’s glorious balmy weather is that winter days are generally still warm enough to host your outdoor ceremony. Just keep in mind that evenings/nights will still get chilly and the days will be shorter (your photographer should be able to advise when to expect sunset and last light). If you want a summer wedding in Brisbane we totally support you, just know that these months can get quite humid (dress appropriately!) and also mark the regions typical wet season.
