If you’re reading this post you’ve made it through our Best of 2022 round ups for Cakes, Wedding Parties, Styling Ideas, Grooms Style, Bouquets and Brides Style and you’ve finally arrived at our last blog post for 2022 – Real Weddings.

There is something here for everyone in this round up from country Queensland shindigs to urban elopements, coloured gowns to classic white and an epic op shop find to-boot. Some of our all time fave photographers made the list too, including Brisbane lens lady Stories By Ash, Newcastle photographer House of Lucie and Victorian shooter Ali Bailey (just to name a few).

So without further adieu, here are our top 10 weddings for 2022, as voted by you, by way of your clicks, likes and comments throughout the year here on the blog (tracked by Google) and over on our Instagram (stats from Sked Social).

KATIE & TOM, QLD
Queensland lens lady Renee Green Creative sure did knock it out of the park with her captures of Katie and Tom’s wedding. From the stunning gown from Ella Moda (aka our fave bridal gown shopping destination in Milton, QLD and a MUST visit for anyone gown shopping) to the beaut blooms by Mrs Gibbons Flowers. and super cute ring boxes from The Whole Bride, it’s easy to see why this was one of our most liked and clicked on weddings for the year. Wanna hire Renee to shoot your own day of good times? Enquire here.  Book your appointment to try on all the gorge Ella Moda gowns here.

ELLA & BELLA, NSW
Besides having the cutest names and gosh darn cutest outfits, this wedding was so inspiring on many fronts, especially when it comes to all things circular fashion and sustainability (click here to read about the brides sweet op shop finds). Now let’s turn to the photos. For the 10 years that Hello May has existed, Brissy based Stories By Ash has come up with the goods. She’s the kindest most loveliest human and takes a damn good picture, so why wouldn’t you want to hire her. Queensland based or planning a wedding in Northern NSW? Enquire here for her pricing and availability.

MILLIE & RYAN, NSW
Audley Dancehall and Cafe is one of the most magical venues in all of NSW! It has the distinct and rare privilege of being located right in the heart of Sydney’s Royal National Park, so it’s no surprise to us this magical day, which included a stunning Prea James Bridal gown, was a firm favourite with readers. The sweet snaps by With Love Weddings are a huge reason this image in particular went nutso on our Instagram – just look at the joy, captured forever, on those faces. Book a tour of Audley and it’s heritage listed dancehall here and check out more from With Love Weddings here.

NHARIAH & NICK, VIC
It’s no secret we bloody love a backyard wedding here at Hello May and no one captures them quite like our home girl Jess from Brown Paper Parcel. Nhariah and Nick’s Vietnamese Tea Ceremony was a labour of love with friends and family all pitching in to make the day a reality. For more of this gorgeous day click here and for more fab weddings by Brown Paper Parcel click here. Getting Married in Victoria and want to see a round up of other photographers we love as much as we love Jess? You’ll find a list of Vic based shooters here on the HM directory.

ASHLEIGH & ZAC, NSW
House of Lucie, who just so happens to be one of our fave Newcastle/Hunter Valley wedding photographers, has popped up on our best of lists a few times this year, and one look at her gorgeous snaps and you totally get why weddings like Ashleigh and Zac’s Hunter Valley day was so damn popular. Of course, a contributing factor is also that gorgeous Rue De Seine gown from Sydney fave The Bridal Atelier. See more epic wedding snaps from from House of Lucie right here and make an appointment to try on all the pretty gowns at The Bridal Ateliers Sydney and Melbourne showrooms here.

MOLLY & JOSH, NSW
Of course elopements were crazy popular this past year and those clever kids from Bulb Creative (shooting for Elopement Collective) never fail to knock it out of the park. We just love their shooting style oh so much – especially all the warm feels they captured for Molly and Josh’s elopement. This wedding is a must check out, especially if you’re on the hunt for wedding rings as these guys went to our fave Meg Maskell Fine Jewellery for their rings. Enquire with Bulb Creative here for your own day of good times and find your dream wedding bands here

ALEX & KIERAN, WA
The dress, the cake, doggos in snazzy outfits and fun filled captures by West Oz photographers Sammy & Tom – of course you guys were loving on this wedding like crazy, and so were we. For more of this whacko (in all the best kinds of ways) day simply click here. Planning a wedding in Western Australia and want to know who all of our fave vendors are? Photographers, venues, celebrants – its all right here in one handy list.

LAURA & AIDEN, VIC
I mean come on guys, everything from the J.Andreatta gown and Amélie George accessories to the stunning Churchill venue and loved up photos, courtesy of one of our faves, Ali Bailey, is on point. And when you click here and see their GIANT but totally gorgeous pooch, you’ll understand why this wonderful day was such a hit with readers. Wanna hire Ali to shoot your own day? Of course you bloody do! Simply click here to enquire about her pricing and availability. Shop affordable Amelie George accessories for yourself and your bridesmaids right here.

MADDIE & MICK, VIC
Rounding out our top 10 most clicked on weddings for 2022 is Maddie and Nicks backyard style wedding we blogged all the way back in Jan. It got consistent love throughout the year thanks to that stunning KWH Bridal gown and the wonderfully candid snaps by Nicole from Light and Type Photography. We love Nic’s work so damn much, and if you do too, enquire with her here. Loving on KWH Bridal – so their latest collection here.

HANNAH & TROY, VIC
We love a couple that throws tradition at the wedding and creates a day that is truly a reflection of them and that pretty much sums up Hannah and Tim’s bright and fun Melbourne wedding, snapped by one of our fave lens ladies Miranda Stokkel. We love the brides black shin length gown that she’ll no doubt enjoy wearing for many years to come. If you’re dreaming up an urban wedding like this one, simply click here for our fave 15 urban venues Australia wide. Love Miranda’s bright and fun snaps? Enquire with her here for pricing and availability.
