Is it just us, or does Karen Willis Holmes just keep getting better and better? Just when we think we can’t possibly love her bridal gowns, jumpsuits, minis, power suits more (check the incred KWH suit featured in our Best of 2021: Bridal Style), she comes out with another range that we are absolutely frothing over! Now, the bridal style powerhouse has just dropped their ELOPE ’22 collection and let us tell you, it is something seriously spesh. Like, out-of-this-world gorg, guys, and we’re talking literally because the stellar range is named Sélene after none other than the Greek and Roman goddess of the moon.

An undisputed queen of Australian bridal fashion, Karen’s been in the wedding-gown game since 2000, so it’s no wonder she and her amazing team know a thing or two about creating downright phenom handcrafted pieces for the modern bride, and the pieces in the Sélene collection are every bit as iconic, elegant and timeless as other members of the ELOPE family we know and love. The eight stunning new gowns, all crafted in delicate, buttery soft draped silk satin, are designed to melt around the body like liquid starlight, and those extra little features like chic belts, dainty satin-covered buttons, sexy splits and long sleeves elevate this collection to the next level.

(By the way, have you checked out KWH‘s other dreamy collections? We def recommend taking a squiz – her BESPOKE and LUXE ranges are tdf as everything in the ELOPE collection. Girl is on fire!)

Now friends, it’s truly not a stretch to say we are gd obsessed with each and every gown in the Sélene range (and, frankly, everything Karen Willis Holmes does…), but there are a few pieces that we truly feel deserve a special shoutout… like Margo, with her draped batwing arm and those sweet silk-covered buttons decorating the cuffs of her 3/4-length sleeves. And that wide belt? Snatched waist heaven! We can’t go past Tammy, either, with her twisted halter neck, side illusion cut-outs and sexy split in the skirt; and we are totally swooning over Tiffany’s stunning back, which sweeps from the delicate silk-covered buttons down into a dramatic showstopping train.

The eight dreamy designs are made to order, handcrafted in Karen Willis Holmes’ Sydney workroom and are available in sizes 4 to 20. The pieces range in price from $1990 to $4590 (AUD) and are available in Karen Willis Holmes boutiques in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth as well as at KWH online. You’ll also find select stockists in Australia – including some of our faves, Amante Bridal (Vic) and Mrs Fray (ACT) – and around the globe.
