What the world needs are more people like Justine and Marc – the kind who always see the glass half full. Despite a few health issues before their big day, they were determined to say “I do” in a way that was nothing short of spectacular. Marc tells us, “there was a lot going on in the lead up to the wedding so Justine and I decided to re-energise ourselves by taking a pre-wedding honeymoon to Fiji.” Perhaps that was their secret to pulling off such a thumbs up affair at Horizon Byron Bay, “a place filled with goose bump inducing natural beauty,” says Justine a woman lucky enough to have landed not only one but two great guys.
£We were a little unsure of what we wanted when we began scouting for a wedding photographer?Ultimately, we wanted someone who would be excited to share our special day with us and who was willing to put care, love and thought into the day and this was Brendan to a tee! she says about the man behind A Bear A Deer and A Fox.
Despite Brendan’s charming nature, people were too busy talking about Justine’s incredible gown and Bo & Luca head piece of which she tells us, “I initially bought another dress at a sale… however about two months out from the big day I tried it on and it just didn’t feel ‘right’. I put the dress up on Ebay and headed straight to Rachel Gilbert… I immediately fell in love with the ‘Harper’ gown. Although it came in white I adored it in nude and silver. It was so luxurious and a little sexy!”
Then there was also her mother Margaret, on board to make sure Justine and Marc’s day was everything they’d imagined, gradually ticking their cake by Sweet Obsessions and bridesmaids dresses by Carla Zampatti off her list. £My mum Margaret was an angel and helped with so many elements for the day. She created all the flower arrangements, including the bouquets, my beautiful veil and also sourced a lot of the decorations such as the candles. Like with all weddings, Justine and Marc realised that family really is what matters most.
