Planning a wedding in less than three months is an epic feat, but that’s exactly what Hanna and Hayden did! “With so much uncertainty around lockdowns and restrictions, we decided to get married ASAP,” the bride tells us. “I planned the wedding in two-and-a-half months, which was crazy and at times overwhelming.” But despite the rush, they wouldn’t have changed a thing. “I’m so happy with every element of our day. There’s not one thing I wish we didn’t do.”

And honestly, looking at these beautiful pics by Lucie Weddings, is it any surprise they’d do it all again in a heartbeat? From the custom-designed L’eto Bridal gown to the Natalie Marie Jewellery bling (worn not just by Hannah but her bridesmaids, too!) – not to mention Hayden and his groomsmen’s M.J. Bale suits – every gosh-darn detail of this day was heckin’ perfect.

THE VENUE “Dunes Palm Beach was the only venue we looked at. It is local for us, its such an incredible space and with such beautiful staff, food and alcohol it only made sense that we got married there.

THE THEME “I had all guests wear white and light neutrals. I knew it would complement the venue and help for more of a relaxed vibe. The photos and film so beautifully capture this.”

FAVE DETAILS “The flowers were incredible. Corey of Styled By Her went above and beyond to create my dream bouquet, ceremony flowers and reception flowers. Simple yet so full of texture with a little bit of colour thrown amongst the whites. Bermuda Social were so much fun! They had everyone dancing under the moonlight. By the time the wedding came around everyone was long overdue for a dance. Having a boat for photos and a bit of fun before the wedding (for the boys) added something special to the day and the champagne bar at the ceremony was a must for us. It kept our guests entertained on the sand while they listened to the beautiful sounds of the harpist playing.”

THE DRESS “Anya from L’eto Bridal created the most beautiful custom gown. I knew I wanted her to create it, so I didn’t need to try on any other dresses. I think I almost gave her a heart attack when I told her I needed a dress within two months but she came through and I wouldn’t change a thing!

THE SUIT “Hayden isn’t a fan of shopping (surprise, surprise) so I did a bit of research and gave him options beforehand, which made the process of finding his M.J. Bale suit so much easier for him!”

MEMORABLE MOMENTS “The entire day was a highlight reel within itself. We cut out a lot of traditional things like cutting of the cake and we had speeches while eating our mains. This allowed maximum time with our favourite people on the dance floor.”

STANDOUT VENDORS “Lucie Weddings, our photographer, and Josh from Joyride Films, our videographer, were both just beyond. I look back at our photos and film and almost cry with how perfectly they captured our day. The romance, emotion and good times we had with our friends and family bring back so much and we couldn’t be more thankful! Bermuda Social had everyone dancing, they created the most magical atmosphere, from the lead singer with the most soulful voice to the sax, trumpet and DJ. I would have them play again in a heartbeat. Corey from Styled By Her, she had us in awe! She turned what was already a gorgeous space into this Mediterranean garden with floating white curtains, olive branches pouring out of huge pots to bowls of lemons scattered amongst the table flowers. Beyond amazing! The staff at Dunes Palm Beach were just so accommodating and easy to work with. I love everything they do; nothing is ever too much stress. They made the day run so seamlessly!”
