These two lovebirds have known each other since high school but have been a couple for the past seven years after hooking back up in their hometown of Bendigo one Chrissy holidays. They enjoyed a two-year engagement, taking the time to plan their “dry season” wedding in Broome and threw one heck of a party with a few of our fave vendors along for the ride (we’re looking at you Madeline Kate Photography and Made With Love Bridal. THE VENUE “The Mangrove Hotel has the best view of Roebuck Bay in Broome. We knew dancing on the grass under the stars would be a unique experience and amazingly, we were lucky enough to have the ‘staircase to the moon’ feature during our reception – a special moment that only occurs 3 times a month as the full moon rises above the tidal mudflats of Roebuck Bay.“
THE DRESS “As Broome is remote, I met friends and family in different cities to find my dress, ultimately deciding on one from a Queensland designer. My dress was ‘Ella’ by Made With Love Bridal. Ella is worth her weight in gold – for the stunning lace and a show stopper train!”
FAVOURITE MOMENT “Our favourite moment was arriving at the reception! The energy and enthusiasm of the crowd the moment we entered was completely overwhelming. It was something we will cherish forever.”
