For Adriana and George, who have been together since they were just 18, “marriage is devotion, commitment, eternal love… and picking the best of the bunch so you don’t end up alone!” they share. But all jokes aside, these cuties tell us that after eight years together, marriage is “a new beginning. A new chapter in our lives together as one, best friends and soul mates, devoted to just doing life together.”

That’s a whole vibe, folks, as was their entirely epic big day, complete with more than 200 guests, some incredible ‘fits courtesy of Karen Willis Holmes and Oscar Hunt, dreamy stationery and signage by the creative crew at Oak & Ivory, and of course, swoon-worthy snaps by the talented Dan Evans Photography. THE VIBE “The inspiration for our day was just a romantic, magical and classic vibe, with soft pinks and latte tones.”

THE VENUE “The marquee and fairy lights at Sunnybrae Estate are what sold us. It felt so magical and romantic, just like a Disney movie. We had our hearts set on it from the moment we saw it.”

FAVE DETAILS “The flower and chandelier arrangements are one of our favourite details, it was such a magical vibe and the mood tied everything together. I also loved our stationery by Oak & Ivory, it was simple but so classic and soft. It all was better than I could have ever dreamed.”

DIY “We made candles for our bonbonnieres with the help of my brother-in-law’s girlfriend. She has a small candle business called Ithica Candles, so we all got together to help make them all one night.”

THE DRESS “I came across my Karen Willis Holmes dress on Instagram and instantly fell in love with it. Luckily, Adelaide Bridal Collective boutique had a new trunk show and this particular dress was included. As soon as I tried it on it was perfect, and the rest is history.”

THE SUIT “I came across Oscar Hunt by word of mouth and they had a lot of great reviews and feedback. I wanted something customised and personal, so it was perfect for our big day. The whole process took about six months, from consultation to finished product.”

TAKE ON TRADITION “The groom’s side of the family had traditional Macedonian and Serbian music that played throughout the day while they were getting ready and moments before leaving the house. We also incorporated live Macedonian music into the reception.”

WE’RE GLAD WE… “I’m glad we added disposable cameras as favours on the night, I feel like it’s a nice keepsake for the guests and always nice to look back on.”

STANDOUT VENDORS “I honestly think that each and every vendor went above and beyond. They were all so lovely and easy to work with, it just made planning and the day so easy and refreshing. Just a bunch of kind and talented people, so a big thank you to them all.”
