One Fine Day Wedding Fair took over the White Bay Cruise Terminal in Rozelle, Sydney, this August and as a proud sponsor of the event, the Hello May team was there to take in all the action. We also invited the incredibly talented Kristie Carrick along to take some photos from the epic weekend, which we’re sharing with you guys today. Kristie captured the buzzing energy and good vibes to a tee!
As always, NSW’s best wedding vendors went above and beyond when creating their stalls, while we enlisted the incredible talents of Tegan from The Lillipilian to bring the Hello May stand to life – and, boy, did she deliver (scroll down for the epic florals!). The wonderfully talented Veasna Chea Design took care of our pretty papergoods and signage on the day. And one of our favourite jewellery designers Temple Of The Sun very kindly offered up a prize for us to give away. Dream team? We think so!
At 10am the first wave of attendees came through the venue, with VIP guests receiving their goodie bag (which included a copy of Hello May), as well as delish cocktails thanks to Mr Consistent, and access to the Simply Seated lounge (a total vibe – and a great place to grab something to eat before taking in one of the three runway shows of the day). Showcasing gorgeous hair and makeup by Tonic Agency and designers including HM faves KWH Bridal and M.J. Bale, the fashion shows were a definite highlight.
Special mentions must also go to venues Audley Dance Hall, Greyleigh Kiama and the Park Hyatt, photographer Adam Egan, baker La Petite Tarte, stationer Quill, stylist Fresh Creative Styling, florist Elodie’s and day spa The Bath House, who all come highly recommended by us (you’ll find them over on our directory) and had seriously stunning set-ups on the day!
