A story of feminine pinks and vivid petals, unexpected bridal dresses, and high-energy details that pop (but play oh-so-nicely) with the picturesque winery setting surrounds. Plus, just for good measure, a vintage-style set of wheels to ride off into the sunset. Total dreamscape.

This vibrant vineyard wedding styling inspiration is doused in joyful vibes, just as photographer and creative director Ellen May intended.

“I’m a colourful, happy and bubbly person, and I really wanted to create wedding inspiration that reflected that energy. My goal was to bring colour and fun vibes to our region and show couples that weddings can be vibrant, creative and full of personality,” Ellen explains. “I wanted to demonstrate that choosing colour, whether that’s through styling, florals or even a pink dress – can feel exciting, modern and full of life.”

Captured at Glenbosch Estate, the shoot feels like a love-letter to the Albury-Wodonga and Beechworth areas, penned by the talented wedding suppliers who pulled it all together. “We focused on building an incredible atmosphere from start to finish, and collaborating with talented local vendors was such a big part of that,” shares Ellen, who recruited Flowers Naturally for flora, Love Letter Content for content creation, Alaura Jade Makeup for beauty and a stack more legends. “There is so much creativity in our region, and this shoot was a celebration of what we can create together!”

Whether you’re planning in the Murray Region or simply gathering bright styling ideas, consider this your starting point. Scroll on for more and hear from the creatives who made it happen.

A STUNNING VINEYARD WEDDING SETTING IN RURAL VICTORIA | OUTDOOR WEDDING PLACES

With vineyard views and rolling countryside, Glenbosch Estate is quite the sight for sore eyes. For a destination-style experience they also have the option of onsite wellness accommodation too – a big tick! With an atmosphere that’s relaxed yet refined, the team say that every element of this boutique vineyard has been shaped with intention, “blending European influence with the natural charm of regional Victoria.” “It was such a joy to see Glenbosch through Ellen’s artistic lens,” Nika of Glenbosch Estate shares, “and the styling complemented the estate so beautifully.”

Fun, colourful florals & wedding stationery

A sculptural explosion of various pink hues, pops or orange and ultra-vibrant green, these blooms by Flowers Naturally demand attention (in the best way possible). “My absolute favourite part of my job is creating statement arrangements,” says Brooke of Flowers Naturally, who’s been working with blooms for 22 years (!!) “I love designs that feel a little bit different and experimenting with bold colours and interesting textures. This shoot was inspired by Ellen’s vision, I went with the vibe, and got to have a fun creative play day with it.”

An additional layer of fun comes in the form of print artistry by Palm Creative Studio. Collaborating closely with clients to weave in personal touches, bespoke event stationery is their jam. “We drew inspiration from the vibrant charm of Palm Springs, embracing bold and cursive typography, bright colours, and layered textures to create a look that feels modern, joyful, and effortlessly elevated, incorporating European heritage sayings and beloved pet names throughout the pieces.”

Non-traditional bridal looks | embracing colour | the perfect reception mini

We adore a colourful bridal moment, and we feel this eye-catching burst of pink deserves extra points for its twirl-ability. “The pink dress and the white mini were such intentional choices because they weren’t traditional gowns, and that was the point,” says Ellen May.

Balancing these frocks with a soft, radiant touch, Alaura Jade Makeup had our bride glowing. With 14 years experience, Alaura’s signature is elevated, natural glam “enhancing your features with soft definition, radiant skin, and timeless finishes that photograph beautifully and feel effortless to wear.”

Similarly, Cole & Co Hair Studio too was inspired by the overarching aesthetic the team was curating, sculpting “something romantic, modern, and slightly editorial while still feeling wearable for real brides. The intention was to create looks that brides could genuinely see themselves wearing,” they told us.

Modern wedding ceremony | redefining what a ceremony can feel like

“For this styled shoot, I was inspired by the idea of redefining what a ceremony can feel like,” shares celebrant Samantha Conroy, who’s modern approach to marrying folks is rooted in storytelling and expressing the couple’s journey with warmth, intention, and authenticity. Samantha explains that often the ceremony is overlooked in design-led shoots. But that’s far from true here. “My hope was to showcase how a celebrant-led ceremony can be both deeply emotional and visually cohesive, proving that the words spoken at the altar can be just as artfully curated as the florals or fashion. Ultimately, I wanted to capture a ceremony that felt timeless, intimate, and meaningful. Something that reminds couples that this is where the magic truly begins.”

Wedding photography & content creation in Victoria

For couples craving a modern take on traditional wedding video, this one’s a breath of fresh air. Albury’s own Harrison Slattery Media caught all the beauty in motion, in both digital and super cool, Super8. “My filmmaking style is all about natural, authentic moments,” shares the creative, “so I really wanted to try something different and decided to approach this shoot with the intention of focusing on the light.”

The content capturing trio wouldn’t be complete without our friend Issy (aka Love Letter Content), too. Issy, with a background in brand, marketing, storytelling and social content, catches all those in-between moments with an editorial feel, delivering them back within a day or two, ideal for speedy socials sharing.
