THE VENUE “Another local venue was so disorganised and unprofessional to deal with that we were forced to change our venue with only 6 weeks to go. They actually sent us the link to our new venue because they had overbooked our accommodation. When we met Josh and Matt from Nimbo Fork they were so lovely and the venue was incredible so we decided to move our venue there. We felt that the whole ordeal was positive in the end as we managed to get our dream wedding spot after all.”
THE VIBE “We wanted it to be simple and chic. Nothing too formal. Just great food, great music, and plenty of cocktails and a great party.”
FAVOURITE DETAILS “I really loved our flowers. I love violet, blue and white tones together and Little Triffids hit our brief perfectly.”
THE DRESS “I reached out to designer Prea James because I came across her designs through one of my models tagged pictures as she shot one of her campaigns. We chatted via Instagram and she invited me to her office in Wollongong. I went to see her and she was so warm and lovely and we instantly hit it off. One of the first dresses I tried was the ONE! I was so impressed with her skill and talent.”
FAVOURITE MOMENT “When Fred and I said our vows our celebrant asked Fred if he would take me as his wife. Before she was finished her sentence he cut her off and said “I do” and realised that he chimed in too fast. Everyone laughed and there is a photo that captured this moment in our album which still makes me laugh.”
STANDOUT VENDORS “All of our vendors went above and beyond but Matt, Josh and Millie from Nimbo Fork and Nick from the Sir George who did our catering stood out.”
