We like these two. A lot. I mean, they got married in our dream house in Berry on Sydney’s South Coast to start. Then there was the “unintentionally bearded trend going on,” (they had Barefoot & Bearded behind the lens,  The Bearded Brewer Coffee Caravan and “Aaron also has an impressive beard!”) They got wood fired pizza for their reception dinner and the bride wore two of our fave brands, Grace Loves Lace and Forever Soles, too. So I guess you can see why we’re fond of them. Scroll down for all the pics and the important details…

THE VENUE “We always knew we wanted a small, intimate wedding, so thought a house for the weekend would be perfect. After googling Bel-Air Berry, we booked it without even seeing it in person. We love the town of Berry, the beautiful succulent-filled garden and the idea of the house that we could stay together the night before, get ready at and have the ceremony, reception and party.”

FAVOURITE DETAILS “The flowers from Gypsy Carmen were amazing! She came in the morning for the arbour flower installation, my bouquet and Aaron’s buttonhole. Also, having no phones or cameras during the ceremony meant everyone was completely present.”

DIY “The styling and planning of the day was all quite DIY. We sourced a lot from local businesses to put the day together. I was lucky enough to have my creative friend Claire, who understood I was not about traditions and helped me create the day. We went shopping for mismatched table decorations, food for the grazing table and in the morning while I was getting ready, Claire and my mum put together the delicious grazing table, set up the tables and styled the cosy reception area.”

THE DRESS “I always loved Grace Loves Lace dresses. I knew I didn’t want a big gown, so I didn’t go to any bridal boutiques. I looked at the dress so many times online and three months out from the wedding, I ordered it online. It came in the really quickly in the sweetest packaging. I was home alone when I tried it on and I fell in love! It just felt perfect! I loved how comfortable, light and flowy it was.”

WE’RE GLAD WE… “Had the early ceremony (12:30). There was more time to enjoy the day, we didn’t feel rushed, and there was plenty of time for photos and mingling.”

STANDOUT VENDORS “Joel from Barefoot & Bearded and Kim Oakhill Civil CelebrantJoel honestly went above and beyond both leading up to the wedding and on the day. We met with him for an engagement shoot and connected instantly. He made us feel totally at ease, took us to so many beautiful and different spots and the photos turned out amazing! Kim ran the ceremony perfectly for us, with all the memorable moments, our personal story and the laughs. She had an amazing energy and warmness about her.”
