These lovers have been together for ten cruisey years and tied the knot in sunny Noosa. Jordan proposed to his leading lady in the middle of pre-game drinks for the couples much loved Adelaide Crows. Pink-cheeked, Laura opened a series of boxes until she was surprised with a trip to Noosa. The final box contained the piece de resistance. Cheered on by fellow fans, the duo celebrated until the early hours of the morn. Idyllic, huh? Well, wait until you get a load of their pristine wedding party and the brides gorge gown that she nabbed from Sphere Collective. Scroll down for Shane Shepherd Photography’s super snaps…

THE VIBE “The overall vibe of the day was definitely to have one big party under the stars on a balmy afternoon and that is exactly what we had! The majority of our guests had never been to Noosa before, so most made a holiday out of it and we wanted to give them an awesome experience to make it worth it. It was one big party from the get-go with the dance floor packed from the outset thanks to the Hamilton Band. Our wedding would have not have been the same without them. They brought the party and had everyone dancing all night long.”

FAVOURITE DETAILS “One of our favourite details was our order of ceremony fans created by our dear friend at Paper and Nirvana. The order of ceremony was printed on an acrylic paddle which doubled as a fan to keep guests cool if they needed. One side was a quirky narrative of how the ceremony would play out and the other side was a dedication to our awesome bridal party with a few words explaining why each of them was so special to us.”

THE DRESS “My dress was from Sphere Collective in Maroochydore. I wasn’t the type of bride that knew exactly what she wanted and so didn’t know where to start when the time came. I was so lucky to have my mum and sister follow me to every shop I went to. It gave us many excuses for ‘pre-dress-trying-on-bubbles’ and ‘post-dress-trying-on-bubbles’! I visited Sarah at Sphere Collective on one of my holidays to Noosa. There was such a variety of gowns and so many dresses that were inline with my style. Sarah was so warm and honest and made me feel like she had all the time in the world for me. I knew I’d need her in my wedding dress journey. She provided styling ideas through the whole process!”

REFERENCES “My best friends bought me a subscription to Hello May when I first got engaged so with each new edition I would sit down with a notebook and cut out my favourite images and ideas.”

STANDOUT VENDORS “We connected with Shane Shepherd from the minute we sat in on a Skype call to meet another vendor. Shane understood our vibe from the outset. On the day, he was equally amazing. We had a wild bridal party and Shane embraced their cheekiness all day.”
