Kirra-lee knew things were a little sus when Dave hijacked her ladies lunch picnic. “My friends had pretended they had left something in the car so they all leave and then out of nowhere Dave plops down next to me, heart beating a million miles and he pulls out a ring and asks me to be his forever.”
Held at Fitzroy Falls Conference & Adventure Centre in the Southern Highlands, the couple tells us that as soon as they saw their venue they knew it was perfect. “The theme was boho and the vibe was definitely relaxed! We didn’t want anything too formal, so the reception was a sit around the fire under the stars eating, drinking and laughing event! Really laid back, it was the best,” explains Kirra-lee, who found her Spell & The Gypsy Collective dress straight away.
“I fell in love with the gorgeous two piece design. The lace was gorgeous and I felt like a boho princess,” says the bride, adding that all of their vendors, like Luke Fletcher Photography, did an incredible job.
“They all went above and beyond. The food in particular was plentiful and the most tasty… so props to Agape Restaurant,” the pair tell us, ending things by telling us their outlook on marriage: “Marriage is a promise to help each other love life, to share in every moment – good and bad!”
