Here at Hello May, we’ve never really believed that our fates are sealed. But sometimes we hear a story like Eli and Will’s that makes us change our tune and realise that maybe (just maybe) things are written in the stars. As their story goes, it seems a wedding in Paris was inevitable.
“The name of the street we live on in Tampa is Paris Street, the monogram I creepily purchased before Will and I were engaged is from a store called The Paris Market, and while I was on the phone with my best friend Melissa discussing the pros and cons of a wedding in Paris, she stumbles upon a postcard while in a store that read “Paris is Always a Good Idea.” What are the odds?!,” says Eli.
Married at the lovely Parc du Champ de Mars, a public greenspace with world famous view, Eli wore a BHLDN capelet, Badgley Mischka shoes, and a beautiful Baccini & Hill gown.”It’s mermaid fit, with a sweetheart neckline, art deco inspired detail and it is gorgeous! I would wear it everyday if I could.”
Captured both on film and video by Bayly & Moore, Eli and Will were able to share the entire experience with their friends and family at a post-elopement party. Between the talented vendors, the amazing fashion and the enamored couple, we guess it’s true what they say: Paris really is the city of love.
