This couple are both paramedics, true heroes in our minds! They also tied the knot on the Limestone Coast in this magical seaside wedding and we can’t get enough. Lens lady Madeline Kate was behind the camera to capture all the good times and the wedding favour donation was supplied by the wonderful Starlight Children’s Foundation. Scroll down for more…

THE VENUE “I am originally from Mount Gambier while Scott is from Adelaide and Robe is a gorgeous seaside town positioned between the two. Robe has a magical seaside charm that seems to allow you to forget about the outside world and become entrenched in its beauty. We have spent a great deal of time in Robe with family and friends and love the vibe of the town and it seemed a natural place for us to marry.”

THE VIBE “Once we decided on Robe as the setting, a relaxed beach wedding was fitting, however, I wanted a beach wedding without sand and a little more refined. Luxe-boho was a fitting vibe with a timeless white and gold colour pallet entwined with our ‘we’ve got the love’ theme.”

FAVE DETAILS “The flowers from Oh Flora Flora were absolutely amazing and so much more than I could ever have imagined. The detail in them suited the vibe of the day and the touch of gold set them apart. Everywhere I looked the flowers were breathtaking. The ‘We’ve got the love’ neon was an absolute find on Buy, Swap and Sell. The biodegradable confetti was amazing – our photographer, Maddie, suggested the one we used from Amazon as a previous couple had used it and the photos turned out amazing. The desserts by Shelby from Cooper & Co Cakes were incredible and received so many compliments.”

THE DRESS “I could not have dreamed a more perfect dress for myself. I loved parts of two separate dresses and One Day Bridal shared my vision. The pattern maker, Dom helped make this happen. Dom is an absolute vibe and just made my day every time I saw her. They combined the dresses beautifully and even made it in an ivory that suited my skin perfectly, as a girl with a big bust I never thought I could have a wedding dress with a v-neck front and backless but One Day Bridal made this happen for me and I am still in awe at their skill.”

MEMORABLE MOMENT “The entire day can become a whirlwind, but Madeline swept us away just before sunset for a private photoshoot with golden light. We had no idea where we were headed but she had found a secluded cliff face overlooking Longbeach at Robe and this was a beautiful moment just Scott and me.”

A WORD OF ADVICE “My advice would be to not think about the total cost, but rather break down the cost of the wedding over at least 50 years of future memories to save your sanity. Most importantly though invest in a great photographer and/or cinematographer, whilst surrounding yourself with people who are uplifting that will make the day special and very memorable for the two of you.”

STANDOUT VENDORS “From the first time we met photographer, Madi, from Madeline Kate over Skype we connected and knew she was the perfect photographer for us. Madi is vibrant and fun and this spirit is infectious. Madi’s sister Sam also made the journey from Melbourne to Robe to help Madi on the day and provided such a fun vibe with drinks flowing and music playing the entire time! Madi is so considered in her selection of photo locations and most were within walking distance of the venue allowing us to boogie up and down the streets of Robe. This was honestly one of the most fun parts of the day and the resulting photos are magic, Madi is truly one with her camera and she was the perfect fit for our big day. Madi continues to provide the goods, our recently arrived wedding album is a testament to that quality and attention to detail. Madi doesn’t just capture beautiful photos but is able to capture feelings within film. If only we had a dollar for every time we have said Madi is worth her weight in gold! [Also], Kaitlin from Pepperlane Design & Events’ care, attention to detail and work ethic were unmatched, and she really went over and above to make our wedding special for us.”
