Bianca and Noa are a treat for the eyeballs, people. They have been an item for “around three and a half years” and got engaged on the cusp of COVID in Canada no less. They had to postpone the wedding once due to the pandemic, but “were really glad we had organised a professional live streaming crew to beam the entire ceremony and reception to our loved ones interstate and overseas,” says Bianca. THE VENUE “Even before we got engaged an ad for The Warehouse popped up on my Instagram and I loved it straight away! It was the first venue that I showed to Noa. Sadly they didn’t have availability for our first date back in October. So when we decided to postpone to April, I emailed them back to ask if they had our date free and they did! It was definitely our dream venue.”
FAVE DETAILS “The flowers were one of my favourite details of the day. Mrs Gibbons Flowers was the first vendor we picked and from the start, I told Noa that I wanted to splurge on flowers! They exceeded my expectations and more! I cried when I saw my bouquet for the first time.”
THE DRESS “My dress is designed by & For Love and I bought it from Bloom in Newstead! For a while I was convinced that I was just going to try dresses on to see what I liked, then get it made so I could save money. I knew that I wanted a long, sheer sleeved dress so as soon as I put on the Samara gown I couldn’t imagine wearing anything else. Trying it on at Bloom was probably the first time that it kicked in for me that I was going to be a bride. That was really special.”
MARRIAGE MEANS… “The start of the craziest adventure ever. It means saying yes to each other, serving one another, accepting each other, and committing before God to be beside each other for the rest of our lives. It was a meaningful touch to have our own local pastor and close friend officiate the wedding. We included some of our favourite bible verses and worship songs into our ceremony.”
LITTLE LOL “I wanted to provide some shock-factor to my wedding speech and do something that Bianca could never have imagined I was capable of. I learned and performed a Filipino song in Tagalog to end my speech. The look she had on her face was priceless as she figured out what was happening. All her family started to join in on the chorus which helped me out big time!”

STANDOUT VENDORS “George Bowden Photography went above and beyond in capturing the day and working with us in advance to make us comfortable taking couples shots and planning where we would shoot on the day! She found the most beautiful nooks and corners to shoot and she was so much fun the entire day. Our whole bridal party and family loved her so much too!
