Amelia and Josh see marriage as an opportunity to “build a life that we look back on and confidently say ‘no regrets’,” guys. And it’s safe to say they have started strong with their wedding, right? Translucent Photography was there to capture all the beauty (of their story as well as their surrounds) and we are proud as punch to bring it to you. Scroll down for all…
THE VENUE “As soon as we got to Mali Brae Farm, the owners and their team were so kind and welcoming, and the venue itself was just absolutely stunning. It had the exact vibe that we didn’t even know we wanted, and so we cancelled all other venue viewings we’d booked, and booked our wedding that week!”
THE INSPO “Warm, cozy and Autumnal.”
FAVE DEETS “The flowers and styling [by Blush & Blooms Floral Studio] were exactly what we wanted and more – the colours were so warm and cozy, and tied in so perfectly with the venue and the colours of the trees. And our favours were perfect, I (Amelia) am a big tea drinker and I wanted something that could be taken home and used whenever the guests wanted to. The presentation of them were exactly what I imagined!”
THE DRESS “The first one I bought in 40 minutes [but] a few months later, I went in for surgery which changed my body significantly, and when I tried the dress on after, it no longer felt like the one. Six weeks before the wedding I decided to visit Connie at Accapella Bridal. She took the stress away and found a dress that was perfect. She was an absolute angel and had it fitting me perfectly in less than two weeks!”
STANDOUT VENDORS “Greg, Shell, Amelia, and their team at Mali Brae Farm make you feel like family. Lucy from Translucent is incredible. She is such a professional in her communication and knows exactly how to run a room, plus her eye for detail and the final product of her work are unmatched. We are absolutely obsessed with all our photos, and the decision to have her capture our day was one of the best we made! Tom from Velvet Wattle and his Assistant Jye, Wendy from Blush & Blooms Floral Studio, Jacqueline Dee, and Anthony Hughes (of Divine Productions) and our hair and makeup vendors.”
