Don’t you love a wedding day where you don’t have to rush from one town to another? Irish expats Michael and Diedre do, with a venue that could play host to their ceremony, reception, photos and accommodation for themselves and guests who choose to stay, key to their planning. Step on inMerribee on NSW’s south coast! The two fell in love with the venue and based the look of their day around the lush green gardens and country vibe.

It’s apparent though that what soon became the star of the wedding, was the dance floor. “The celebrations continued into the wee small hours of the morning,” says Michael. “Out of 65 guests, only seven grabbed the bus organised to take them all home at midnight, so we take that as an endorsement people had a good time!”
