Sarah and Dan’s wedding day was the kind of wedding you absolutely WANT to be a part of, and we mean that! Styled by Byron faves Peachy Pie this was a day full of love, laughs and a conga-line lead by a Mexican Mariachi band?! Ah sign us up!
“We had drums, maracas and tambourines shaking, the Mariachis singing and playing, and everyone shaking their hot thangs all the way back home! What a blast! So fun. All the cars were hooting and waving at us, such a moment, we loved it!” Sarah tells us this was one of their favourite moments, the bride adding that if it weren’t for their fab vendors, the fun filled day would never have happened.
“Our vision was for a super vibrant, playful, bohemian love-fest festival party!! Something super intimate and joyful, with only our very nearest and dearest to celebrate love and family in a fun and relaxed way,” said the bride, who rocked a gorgeous pink Jen’s Pirate Booty gown, whilst her ‘maids wore some rather gorgeous white and cream Spell & The Gypsy Collective and Alice McCall frocks.
Of stand out vendors for the day, the couple agreed their photographer aced the brief, “we particularly fell head over heels in love with the work of our magical photographer, Lauren from Love Her Wild Photography! The minute I saw her Instagram, I knew Lauren was the missing piece of our wedding puzzle! We felt so lucky to have her with us capturing these incredible images to treasure for the rest of our lives.”
The pair agreed it was a touching moment seeing their two daughters partake in the big day, “We were lucky enough to have our daughters there to see us get married, so we really wanted them to be part of our ceremony. They came down the aisle with the bridesmaids, and after our marriage vows, our girls stood with us at the altar and we did some really special family vows together, making promises about what we will be to each other as a family. It meant a lot to us, was so fun and sweet and so many of our friend commented on this afterward. My oldest daughter who is five still remembers what our family vows were!”
