A traditional wedding was never in the cards for Amy and Brett. A day focused on family, friends and a whole lotta fun., this couple was originally working towards a rustic theme – however – soon changed their tune, going for a bright and fun Mexican party vibe with heaps of food, drinks and dancing…

“It was was bright, fun and vibrant… just as we had pictured! The Mexican party bunting, fairy lights and table clothes, cake, balloons, pom-pom wall so much colour,” says the bride, who wore a stunning Grace Loves Lace gown.

“I tried on a handful of dresses and they were all beautiful but the ‘Harriett’ was just perfect! It was fun, relaxed, suited our theme and was like it was designed for my body shape,” Amy tells us, adding that Carly Tia and The White Tree were no doubt standout vendors.

Having learned a lot from their special day, Amy and Brett had plenty of advice to pass along to future brides and grooms. “When it gets too much just take a step back and remember weddings aren’t meant to be perfect, it’s a day to celebrate love with real people in real life with real emotions it’s not going to be Facebook or Instagram perfect!”
