Wanting to create a celebration that was warm and romantic but also very ‘Melbourne’, Anna and Tim hired a heap of awesome vendors to help pull together their amazing day at Gather & Tailor.
“When we met Celeste and Sam Grant (who own Gather & Tailor), that was it. It was such a good fit and we knew we’d found our people and our venue. The warehouse had such a great feel about it (we loved the cacti outside!) and it was a blank canvas,” explains Anna, who left the styling to the experts.
“Shonel of Nomad Styling was an absolute star. Not only is she an incredibly talented stylist, but she is a lovely person and she genuinely went above and beyond to help us create the wedding of our dreams,” she explains, adding that Madeline Druce, Humdrum Films and Cecilia Fox were standout vendors as well.
And as far as fashion goes? Anna didn’t skimp on it, rocking her gorgeous Cushla Whiting rings with a vintage veil and stunning Suzanne Harward gown. “I knew instantly that it was ‘the one’ and I knew that Tim would absolutely love it. The team at Suzanne Harward are a dream and my experience from start to finish was happy and relaxed. I didn’t have a single dress drama,” says the bride, summing up marriage perfectly.
“Marriage to me means finally being able to confess that I hate watching the AFL (although I’m pretty sure Tim already knew that). Marriage to Tim means pretending he can’t hear me asking him to turn down the AFL. Seriously though, marriage to us means commitment, compromise and unconditional love. We would do anything for one another.”
