Channelling chill, Su and Neil got married barefoot, by their closest friends, in what appears to be one of the most relaxed days we have seen to date. Despite the carefree vibes, Su found herself with a Gromzilla on her hands. Said Groomzilla got his way in the end, walking down the aisle to his own songs. Neil’s boy’s strut their stuff to George Michael’s ‘Wake me up before you go go’ whilst Neil followed solo, dancing down the aisle to James Brown ‘I Feel Good’. The bride eventually got her moment, cruising down the aisle in a custom Amy New Bridal gown. All’s well that ends well, eh? There to capture (and enjoy) the good vibes was the couples fave vendor, Blaise Bell. His stunning captures await your gogglers below…

FAVOURITE DETAILS “The venue was just stunning. It had an old cow mill where the bridesmaids got ready and that’s where we spent our first night married together. It had a cool tennis court for pictures and stunning houses where the wedding party stayed. We were also blown away by the onsite garden. Four or five gardeners tend the venue and it really shows, we didn’t have to do much decoration at all. There were so many cute arches and walkways, it was just amazing.”

THE DRESS “The dress was custom made by Amy New Bridal who was incredible. I saw something similar online and fell in love with the design. She helped me tailor the dress to exactly what I wanted and the whole process was super easy. Overall it took about 10 weeks.”

FAVOURITE MOMENT “As we were saying our vows someone at the bar popped a bottle of champagne and a cork flew into the air around the corner. Everyone heard the bang but carried on. Then, moments later, it landed in between our hands. How amazing, a good sign we hope! We’re going to get the cork framed for sure.”

LITTLE LOL “At the end of proceedings around midnight, Neil decided the last song on the d-floor was to be Irelands ‘Riverdance’, the Irish dancing show. The boys did an impromptu Irish dance-off and took their shirts off. There’s video footage and all, such a funny way to round it off.”

STANDOUT VENDORSBlaise, our photographer, was a hero. He was so nice to work with. We randomly sent him a late-night email and he responded right away. We just connected with him straight off and he was so kind and accommodating in everything he did. He even covered day two of our wedding for us as well. 10/10.”
