Meet Let Them Eat Cake, Baaby’s debut bridal offering and the very chic result of months spent sketching, draping, tweaking and obsessing over every last detail in the label’s Fitzroy studio.
“This collection is inspired by unapologetic romance, decadent silk and modern femininity,” says founder and designer Amelia Mercoulia. Let Them Eat Cake is made for brides who want their wedding wardrobe to feel considered, wearable and entirely their own. Think show-stopping aisle moments (hello, Silk Princess Gown) alongside seriously cool reception looks made for throwing shapes on the dancefloor (we’re OBSESSED with the Silk Ruched Column Gown). We’ve had a serious crush on Baaby for a while now, but Let Them Eat Cake has taken things to a whole new level. The label’s fearless approach to bridal is matched by a commitment to sustainability built into the process from day one. And the collection itself? A lot of fun and stylish AF. Big bows.
