As an optional add on to my Elevated Celebrant service, I offer 1:1 Wedding Vow Writing Guidance sessions, a 30 min video call where we discuss content (balancing humour and sentimentality), formatting (so your vows read beautifully together), and recommended length! I’ll even print your vows on a beautiful textured card for you (with your legal vow at the top), so you won’t need any folded bits of paper in sight on your wedding day.

Feedback from previous couples is that these 1:1 sessions reduced their anxiety and increased enjoyment leading up to the wedding day!

Yes, I’m lucky enough to have travelled all over Australia (and to the USA) to officiate destination weddings, and I’d love to continue travelling and marrying couples (I might even fly my wife, Shelby, there and make a mini holiday out of it!).

There is no better way to troubleshoot than having a wedding rehearsal. We practice the moving parts; bridal walk to music, ring exchange demonstration/practice for the best photos, microphone technique for reading vows, and your upbeat exit/recessional! What better way to build rapport between your celebrant, planner, bridal party, parents (and you, of course). Fun and informal rehearsals the day before make for incredible wedding-day experiences, so I offer rehearsals as an add on to all of my Elevated Celebrant and Front of House services.

Yes! And let me say – you are SO on the money. Your friends want to get properly salubrious, not watch the clock and make announcements all night.
As your calm and charismatic Wedding MC, I’ll cover housekeeping, bridal party grand entrance, speech intros and outros (including preventing any drunk uncles from making unscheduled speeches – true story: many have tried… and failed), while working closely with your planner and venue coordinator to keep everything running smoothly and on time.

Funny story… I was teaching at ADFA (after a career in the Royal Australian Navy) and was invited to my nephew’s wedding as Uncle Dan… the MC!
Halfway through the reception, while I was having an absolute blast, the photographer said, “Hey Dan, give me your Instagram. I’ll recommend you and we can do more weddings together!”
I laughed and said, “I’m just Uncle Dan. I’m in the Navy.”
Turns out people really do this for a living.
