This Sydney based couple where hell bent on a Melbourne wedding (the grooms home town) so naturally they turned to the good folk of Bursaria at Abbotsford Convent as Ellie tells us “the entire space has such a wonderful sense of community which resonated with us. We also wanted the reception inside as Melbourne’s weather is so unpredictable, and loved the look of the courtyard strung with festoon lights.”
There to capture all the warm feels and good times was none other than Madeline Druce, a favourite here in the HM office. Her candid and laid back shooting style clearly put Eliie and Kobi at ease as the bride explains “She made our whole (very large!) bridal party feel at ease throughout the entire day and everyone commented on how lovely she was. Kobi and I also loved doing our couple’s photos as she made us feel so comfortable and also knew all the secret spots throughout the venue”.
Madeline, true to form, didn’t miss a beat capturing every gorgeous moment and detail from the day including some beautiful shots of Ellie in her stunning gown by French designer Elise Hameau. Other standout moments, according to the bride and groom were the first look as Ellie tells us “Maddie our photographer orchestrated our first look in the laneways of Prahran. I’ll never forget the look on Kobi’s face when he turned around and saw me in my wedding dress”
