Hoping to create a relaxed wedding in the Kangaroo Valley, scoring Melross Farm as their venue was at the top of Nicole and Matt’s wedding.
“Melross was one of the first venues we saw and we literally both cried and knew it was perfect! No other venue compared to Melross. The beautiful houses, barn reception and panoramic views over the entire valley were impossible to beat. We loved the idea of spending the entire weekend with out families on the property. This was the best decision we ever made for our wedding,” says Nicole, who got her gorgeous Watters gown from Sydney bridal boutique Hope X Page.
“It literally was me not to over the top, simple and just enough personality. Everyone on the day told me how much the dress was me’,” explains the bride, adding that Garnish Catering topped their list of awesome vendors.
“Garnish Catering were literally unbelievable. They not only delivered amazing food for our guests, but did all the DIY last minute jobs that we needed, such as lighting candles, making cocktails, having water and drinks for our guests upon arrival, mingling with our guests and ensuring everyone always had a drink in their hands.”
Also amongst their top suppliers were the lovely and talented Tillee Music as well as Botanic Art and Silo Design.
“Silo Design was a no brainer. Jess has the most amazingly whimsical furniture and ideas for a room. She literally loaded all the outdoor and indoor furniture into her truck and brought it all down. The amazing feel she gave the room with the candles scattered throughout the fireplace and the hanging tea lights was incredible.”
