These super-sweet lovers were together for five years before tying the knot with a floral wonderland of a wedding. Seriously, guys, you are going to want to check out this otherworldly floral installation, stat. One of our faves, Finch & Oak, was there to capture the oodles of aesthetic details that made this wedding one heck of a photographers dream. Scroll down for all the details…
THE VIBE “We really wanted a venue that was industrial and with high ceilings for a very important hanging floral piece we (or I… hehe) wanted over the dance floor.”
FAVOURITE DETAILS “By far the most special details on the day were designed and made by my husband Ty. The amazing signage including our backdrop, invites, ring box, welcome sign, seating plan, ceremony sign, table numbers and bridesmaid gift boxes were all made by him.”
THE DRESS “Finding my dress was the most beautiful experience. I’m tearing up writing this. I wanted to try and replicate my grandmother’s wedding dress with a modern twist. I spoke to a few designers and then found the dress by Pronovias. Without having my mother around I was so lucky to have my best friend by my side and she dropped everything when I told her I had found the dress. I tried one dress on and it was the dress I wore on our special day. I remember my sister seeing me in the dress and saying “the dress looks so much like nanas” it was a very special moment and I was so lucky to, in some way, feel she was with me on the special day.”
TALK ABOUT TRADITION “My wedding dress and flowers were inspired by my grandparent’s wedding and each of my flowers in my bouquet was in memory of my mother, father, grandmother and grandfather. We also had the pleasure of acknowledging my parents through the wedding with one of our signing of the register songs being one of my parent’s favourite songs “Every Morning by KebMo’. This, I know, would have them smiling.”
STANDOUT VENDORS “Sam from Sam Fregonese Films went above and beyond. He created a film that honestly, to this day, Tyrone and I watch once a week. He also delivered this within a few weeks of our wedding. Paul from Finch & Oak made Tyrone and I, whom by the way, hardly take photos together, feel so comfortable and kept us at ease and gave us photos that we could only have ever imagined.”
