If you have found your way to this blog post then you already know that Madeline and Jamie are, well…freaking cool! This rock ’n’ roll duo tied the knot in Las Vegas, fulfilling everyone’s wildest fantasy, and the pics are proof that good times were abundant. Opting to skip engagement rings in favour of purchasing a Black Harley Davidson, these two indulged in a pretty epic engagement shoot with Joel of Barefoot & Bearded. They loved his work so much that they shipped him over to Las Vegas for their big day. Speaking of, please do scroll down for the fab captures…

THE VENUEThe Graceland Chapel has been a part of the Las Vegas Strip for over 70 years and is one of the most prominent chapels for a wedding in Las Vegas. A Las Vegas wedding is one of the most appealing wedding ideas to celebrities too. Jon Bon Jovi was married there and in 2001, actually held a concert in our parking lot with 75 couples who renewed their vows with him! Other musicians such as Billy Ray Cyrus, Aaron Neville and members of popular groups such as Def Lepard, KISS, Deep Purple have all tied the knot there as well! The chapel was also in the hugely popular Johnny Depp movie Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas.”

FAVOURITE DETAIL “My wedding dress. It is just so, so special and is unique beyond words. Its something you would expect to see Lady GaGa in on the Red Carpet at the Met Gala. The train is spectacular. I cherish it so much and it’s still hanging up in our hallway, like a piece of artwork! The dress took only 3 months to make, all by hand, everything was sewn by Sarah [Sarah Joseph Couture] herself and the choice of appliques was all hers as well. Harley logos, the Rolling Stone tongue, stars, roses, green flowers, orange goldfish – there’s even some red cherries and a cactus! The wings are all cubic zirconia’s sewn on top of small silver sequin. There are easily 30 days solid of sewing in this dress Sarah tells me.”

FAVOURITE MOMENT “Eating burgers at IN n OUT burger for the first meal as a married couple! Also, playing an awesome game of Eye Spy with my husband, our photographer Joel and our Videographer Rob as we drove 50 mins off the strip to a cactus garden and a ghost town for our final photos prior to sunset. The two of them made our very, very hot wedding day so enjoyable and we really did laugh all day!”

LITTLE LOL “Realising that Bridesmaids are actually quite handy when Joel & Rob had to help me into my dress (Poor guys!)”

WE’RE GLAD WE… “I am very, very glad that I had a second dress designed by Sarah Joseph Couture. Due to the heat, I predicted that I would only last a certain amount of time in my first dress as it was black with a long train, so the second dress was a great idea and it was also fitting with our rock n roll theme.”

STANDOUT VENDORS “Joel [Barefoot & Bearded] and Rob [Rob Birchall Media]. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone. They are full of great energy, enthusiastic and are incredibly talented at what they do. I love seeing their work and applaud their future successes – they deserve it!”
