Guys, we like this rad couple a lot! Not only did Stacey and Jason have a two-week ‘friendmoon’ post-wedding but they actually ended their wedding day with a pool party. A POOL PARTY. The couple also got ready together, greeted their guests whilst sipping champagne and partook in a zippy “fake” ceremony. Our verdict? Perfection. Now, you really ought to scroll down and check out Matt Godkin Photography’s super fun captures…

THE VIBE “Jason’s dad is from Sardina, so we themed the whole wedding around a long Italian lunch which rolled into a pool party.”

FAVOURITE DETAILS “We didn’t really do much traditional stuff like a cake or even invites (we just did a website), but our florist, Georgia at Bramblehaus, created the most beautiful flowers. My mum made super cute linen outfits for each of our four flower girls and I bought some super cute sunnies from AliExpress for them which made them look like sassy little queens.”

LITTLE LOL “There was a blackout in the evening so the DJ went home and we started a fire.”

WE’RE GLAD WE…”We were married in a registry the week before, which was great. In Sydney, you can get married at Handpicked Cellars in Chippendale as part of a registry wedding. We did that just with our immediate family and then went to dinner afterwards and stayed at the Old Clare that night. That meant that we could have one of our best friends ‘fake’ marry us on the day which was just such a personal and beautiful experience.”

A WORD OF ADVICE “Keep it small, don’t do anything you don’t want to do and relax. There was absolutely nothing stressful about our wedding, we just got to party and enjoy ourselves. Also, work with people who you trust and then let them do their thing. I didn’t worry about checking in with any of our suppliers as I know they were awesome and it just makes the whole thing really easy.”

STANDOUT VENDORS100 Mile Table catered and the food was outstanding. We are still talking about the orecchiette. Matt Godkin, our photographer, felt like a guest and just one of our friends who happened to be taking photos, even though we only met him a couple of weeks before. Georgia from Brablehaus instantly got me. Her aesthetic is epic. Jordan, our pianist was so lovely and played beautifully. Our linen was from our beautiful best friend who runs Tow and Line, it made the day look sophisticated but nice and casual too.”
