We are pretty sure it doesn’t get more wholesome than this, guys. Leah and Aaron met ten years ago as teenagers working at the local cinema. They hit it off and one cute tot later, they decided on forever. With the help of a rather swell team of vendors, the duo pulled off the day of their dreams. Papier looked after invites whilst Tillee Music serenaded the intimate gathering of 45. As for snaps, Leah and Aaron were lucky enough to secure the services of Melbourne based lens-lady and HM fave Elsa Campbell. Have your Pinterest board handy and get scrolling…

FAVOURITE DETAILS “The decision to have a live band was one I am so glad we made. It really complimented the vibe of our day. Having James and Tim from Tillee Music really brought so much to the atmosphere of the day, and walking down the aisle with my favourite song and sharing our first dance as husband and wife being played live is something we will remember forever.”

FAVOURITE MOMENTS “Oh there are so many! We had decided that the morning of/lead up to our wedding we wanted to spend that time together with the 3 of us rather than being split up over different locations so we got ready all together. Just thinking back to the morning makes me smile, it was honestly so much fun and such a special memory of getting excited and all dressed up together.”

LITTLE LOl “We forgot to cut our cheese tower! Shadowfax put together an impressive (and tasty) 3 tier cheese tower complete with quince and figs for us instead of a traditional wedding cake. It was on display all night atop an old wine barrel but we were just having so much fun with our guests enjoying the beautiful food and wine, dancing and laughing that we never ended up cutting the cheese tower as you usually would a wedding cake. It actually wasn’t until we got home that we even realised!”

WE’RE GLAD WE “We were really glad that we all arrived together just before our guests and didn’t opt to arrive separately. The day was about togetherness and we loved being able to welcome everyone to our wedding as they arrived. We were also really glad we were able to keep the invite list small as we felt like we were able to get around to everyone and make sure they knew how thankful we were that they were able to come and share our special day.”

STANDOUT VENDORSElsa was amazing! Our photos turned out to be so much more beautiful than we could have expected, she really captured our day and the overall feeling. It was also really important to me to find a photographer that was comfortable around little ones and understood there unpredictably and Elsa was just so wonderful and patient with Sam.”
