Having both grown up on farms, an elegant country vibe was the obvious choice for Jess and Scotney’s intimate, homestyle wedding. With an abundance of native flowers from Designer Bunches and a wedding shed handmade by the groom and his father, their day was full of sentiments and special memories.
“We wanted a fun atmosphere where the dance floor is full, people are laughing and looking at our photos we achieved that”, the couple told us, grateful that they stumbled upon the very talented Madeline Druce to capture their New South Wales wedding.
“We are SO glad we found Maddie. Her photos are magical and just take us right back to our wedding day. She captured the emotion of the day so well and took photos at times I didn’t even realise she was there let alone taking photos!” says Jess, who turned heads in a Babushka Ballerina lace gown.
Like many of our couples, Jess and Scotney are huge advocates of the creative haven that is Etsy. Bridesmaid gifts, flower crowns, their cake topper and more were sourced from the site but our favourite find was the giant jenga game from 54Jenjo which stood at a whopping 65 cm!
