These two groovers were engaged for a solid six years, perhaps the heftiest engagement we have seen to date, but two cute munchkins later and it was well worth the wait. Fond of a good time, Courtney and Josh decided that when it came to their long-awaited big day they would go all out to ensure dancing was a number one priority. Courtney rocked the d-floor All Night Long (sly Lionel Ritchie ref) in her Forever Soles and even snuck in a cheeky crowd surf. The couples sax player caught it all on video whilst Love Her Wild took pics. Party people, whip out your notebooks because this one is a goodie…

THE VENUEForget Me Not felt cosy and quaint yet vast and breathtaking. It had an epic driveway entrance too! They also had cool saloon-style accommodation for the boys to stay in leading up to the wedding – fire pit, bar, pool table, arcade games. It was awesome and Jo was very accommodating.”

FAVOURITE DETAILS “The flowers were absolutely breathtaking! They were bohemian in style with a peach/blush palette and there were huge installations at the ceremony and tipi entrances. Bower Botanicals really took it to the next level!”

FAVOURITE MOMENT “As we walked away from the reception side of the venue, with a sparkler in each of our hands, over the bridge to the little jetty for our first dance. This was perfectly timed for the fireworks to go off on a killer crescendo during Muse’s Madness 3 minutes in. We swayed and dipped and I laughed at how over the top ridiculous everything had been! Best Day EVER!”

LITTLE LOL “My Mums speech absolutely dominated. She recalled a snow trip where Josh’s younger sister Hannah was asked if we were famous and Hannah replied “Well kind of, Courtney has been on Family Feud and Josh has been on Gold Coast Cops.” Haha, how embarrassing!”

WE’RE GLAD WE… “So very glad we had a cocktail style reception. It was such a high energy party because there was no formal sit down. I loved it!”

STANDOUT VENDORSThe Martini Club absolutely made it! From playlists, speech intro songs to furniture shuffling on stage, bongos, sax and recording the crowd surfing! They made it a party of a lifetime.”
