After a very tricky year, this couple deserved the dreamiest of days and from the looks of things that’s exactly what they got. Choosing to represent their home when it came to the decor, Brooke notes the inspo was “WHITE white and more white!” along with quirky trinkets and “a dash of witchy to add mood”. Exactly the kind of styling brief we can get behind! We have Byron based lass Carly Tia Photography to thank for the equally swell snaps. Scroll down for her mighty fine handiwork…

THE VENUE “We were married on an old rustic cattle farm,Tooraloo Farm, in Ewingsdale. It was the first property we saw and we booked it then and there. We wanted a space in which we could be completely creative and do it our way. It was a breeze to organise! I had so much fun! It’s the one day in your life you get to have all of your favourite people and favourite things in one space!”

FAVOURITE DETAILS “We were married underneath two stunning old fig trees and I didn’t want to take away from the natural beauty that they were. My parents were in Bali so I had them purchase us eight white shell mobiles of all different heights and sizes. My Dad cut bamboo down from our property and with some help from my boys they created my dream! The end result was some seriously dreamy shell mobiles that floated in the air over us, almost like little white castles!”

FAVOURITE MOMENT “Dear lord all of it! Ok, so if I had to have a moment, it would be watching my brothers walk arm in arm before me down the aisle towards Joel and give him hugs and kisses. My brothers mean the world to me and I couldn’t get married without them by my side. I am the only girl in the family and to see them so proud and in love with our day made me so happy!”

WE’RE GLAD WE “At the end of the night, as everyone was feeling groovy, Joel and I grabbed a drink and sat on the hill overlooking the dance floor and lounge area and watched all our loved ones celebrating together. It totally grounded us and made us realise how special our love is. It also made us realise how incredible our friends and family are and how adding extra booze in at the last minute was a great choice!”

A WORD OF ADVICE “Stay true to you and have fun!!! The more relaxed I was, the more creative I became.”

STANDOUT VENDORS “Our beautiful celebrant Trines, the stunning babes at Nikau, our photographer Carly & Rach and The Events Lounge! Honestly incredible humans! They all worked so well with us and made us feel at ease and special. We had loads going on prior to the wedding and the help and love they showed us made things simple and special.”
