Going the nontraditional route, Brooke and James opted for a lovely little elopement at Tallows Beach in Byron Bay. “Byron Bay has always held a special place in our hearts, we have been there a few times now and it is so relaxing,” explains the bride, who names Stories by Ash and Michelle Shannon as standout vendors.

“They were truly wonderful and I think we connected with these two vendors the most due to them digging deep into our relationship and spending the most time together on the day,” says Brooke, adding that they didn’t really need a theme since it was just the two of them!

“The vibe of the day was to be uber chilled and relaxed, no fan-fare what so ever and not the pressure that generally comes along with a wedding – just two people in love sharing in a magical ritual together – marriage,” she tells us, recalling her most cherished memory from the day.

“My favourite moment of the day was seeing my husband after we said our I-do’s, he was the happiest and most relaxed I have ever seen him??it was just magical.”
